Trogir to the Southern Dalmatian Islands aboard 2–3 Jeanneau SunLoft 47s — a hybrid sailing-catamaran design new to the fleet that year. Each boat ran with a volunteer skipper and a volunteer Drake rep, and guests took turns on Motherwatch.
Started and finished in Trogir, exploring the Southern Dalmatian Islands. The exact route was decided on the day, weather depending — the same shape as every Drake trip since.
2–3 Jeanneau SunLoft 47s (2020 model) — a hybrid sailing-catamaran called a Monocat, up to 12 guests across 5 double cabins and 1 bunk cabin, 4 heads per boat.
Run on the same subsidised-berth model as every Drake trip: SailChecker's invites to familiarise with partner bases picked up the bulk of the cost, guests covered a kitty and gave feedback, photos and a review in return. This one added a community touch — alongside the Drake rep acting as purser and handling provisioning, guests shared the daily Motherwatch duties themselves.
Sicily ’26 is taking cabins now. The Kavala trip (Greece, all-genders-excluding-men) is gathering interest. BVI ’27 is on the slate.
